1. The Canton City Council will meet at 6 p.m. tonight at City Hall. Senior garbage rates will be on the agenda. Look for the council preview at 5:55 a.m., then watch the meeting live on Canton-Sixes Patch at 6 p.m.

2. The Canton Theatre will host this month's Main Street Mornings from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. today. Main Street Mornings is a monthly networking event for Canton downtown businesses that takes place every third Thursday of the month at a different local business.

3. Members of Cobb Electric Membership Corporation approved new bylaws that make board meetings more transparent and set a new limit on the terms of board directors.
