Overview: J. Christopher’s is a new restaurant in historic downtown Woodstock. An Atlanta-area chain restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch, it is known for its fresh ingredients and inventive dishes. It offers a friendly family atmosphere, which makes it a great place to eat.

Décor: When you walk into J. Christopher’s, you’ll notice the colorful and inviting décor. The atmosphere is cafe-meets-diner style. There are booths on the sides, tables in the middle, a breakfast bar and a place for kids to color. Modern paintings adorn the walls.

Breakfast: You can choose from many breakfast items: omelets, pancakes and skillets–J. Christopher's signature dish. Skillets consist of oven-roasted potatoes mixed with your favorite ingredients and topped with two eggs. The dish comes to your table in a cast-iron skillet. The restaurant's French toast is amazing. Add an expresso to that, and you're all set.

Lunch: The lunch menu is just as good. You’ll have trouble choosing from the many delicious salads, sandwiches, lunch skillets and hamburgers. And if you're in the mood for soup, J. Christopher's has a daily signature soup. Look for seasonal specials on the restaurant's website.

Service: Wait time for a table is not bad. Sundays, it can get a little crowded. But service is quick once you are seated.

Hours: Breakfast is served daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prices range from $6 to $12 for breakfast and lunch.
