Cherokee Chambers Needs Nominees for 2014 Top 10 in 10

These potential future leaders will be recognized during the Good Morning Cherokee breakfast in June.

The Cherokee County of Chamber is looking for nominees for its 2014 Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals To Watch program.

The Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch initiative is designed to "cultivate and showcase exceptional Cherokee County young professionals," the Chamber said in a news release.  

The initiative is coordinated by the Chamber in a partnership with Enjoy! Cherokee magazine. It also shines a spotlight on local residents under the age of 40 who are considered to be the county's potential future leaders.

Judging criteria includes professional goals, volunteer and community activities as well as past professional achievements and awards.

Those chosen for this recognition will be recognized at the Chamber's Good Morning Cherokee breakfast held on the first Thursday in June, featured in the August issue of Enjoy! Cherokee Magazine and nominated for the GeorgiaTrend Magazine 40 Under 40 recognition.

Citizens recognized in 2013 include Josh Bagby, Rand Bagwell, Michael Caldwell, John Cline, Cleve Hill, Barbara Jacoby, Jake Osaer, Jamie Pritchett, Rebekah Shelnutt and Heath Tippens.

Nomination forms are available at the Chamber's offices at 3605 Marietta Highway, in Canton or on its website.  

All applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. May 1.
