Go to just about any Applebee's across the country and you'll notice the same look and design.
Soon, all of that will change at the Riverstone .
The popular eatery is about to undergo a transformation that will make it look less like a franchise and more like a hometown restaurant.
“We’re most excited about the restaurant’s new features that celebrate the , specifically custom-made murals of and high schools and Reinhardt University on our walls,” Ben Shahbazi, senior general manager of the Canton location, said in a statement. “The new murals help us create a stronger connection between Applebee’s and the city that’s been so great to us over the last 14 years.”
Among other planned changes:
- free WiFi;
- new, larger High Definition flat-screen TVs;
- a completely revamped interior and exterior;
- and more beers on tap.
To complete the remodel, Applebee’s will close for three days starting at 9 p.m. Jan. 29. The restaurant will unveil the finished look on Feb. 1.
