3 Make Fastest-Growing Co. List

Three Canton businesses made a national publication's list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

Inc. Magazine highlighted , and in its Inc. 5000 list, which features recognizable brands such as Publix and Levi Strauss.

"To be honored this year is a particularly notable achievement as our company has thrived through some of the toughest years this economy has seen in living memory," ERA CEO David Moody said in a news release. "Our success in such times is a testimony to our team’s creativity, resilience and tenacity."

More than 180 metro Atlanta companies made the list. Alpharetta's Edge Solutions was near the top at No. 3.

Canton's highest rank was No. 2,493. With $11.4 million in revenue in 2011 and a three-year growth rate of 97 percent, that honor went to , which helps people rebound after catastrophes such as fires and floods.

Canton-Sixes Patch contributor Candi Hannigan profiled the business for one of the site's ministry spotlights in January. The Mountain Brook Drive company hosts a weekly Bible study every Friday morning as part of its focus on faith.
