Cherokee Students Perform in One-Act Play Competition
The regional competition will be held Saturday at Milton High School.
Cherokee High School students will go up against schools their size in the Georgia High School Association's One-Act Play competition.
The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Milton High School. The event, which is free, will feature students at six Region 5AAAAAA schools performing one-act plays, and will compete to advance to the state championship.
Schools competing in the region competition and the plays they will perform include:
- Lassiter High School: "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged"
- Cherokee High School: "Dearly Departed"
- Etowah High School: "Imperfect Proposal"
- Milton High School: "King O' the Moon"
- Roswell High School: "The Zoo Story"
- Woodstock High School: "Fortress"
