3. AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY RUNNING TO REMEMBER 5K

Where/When: , 8 a.m. Saturday.

Why Go: 's Danielle Chimenti came up with the idea for her senior project. Not only will it be a good workout, you'll educate your neighbors about adenocarcinoma of the small bowel, a rare form of cancer that affects less than 2 percent of all cancer patients.

4. CANTON OPRY

Where/When: , 7 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: Local bluegrass bands will be performing.

Pricing: $7 general admission.

5. EQUINOX JAZZ COMBO

Where/When: The Falany Performing Arts Center at Reinhardt University, 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: The sounds will transport you to N'awlins.

Pricing: $24 for children 12 years old and younger as well as seniors 55 years old and older; $30 for adults.
