Why Go: Spend an afternoon enjoying the sounds of this wind quintet with Alison Blackburn, Reinhardt faculty member, on clarinet. The group will perform a two-hour concert of standard quintet literature. Get out and put some music in your weekend.

Why Go: Volunteers are needed to help keep the Etowah clean. Get out in the great outdoors and help Rivers Alive, Upper Etowah River Alliance and Cherokee County Stormwater with the waterway cleanup. Bring or wear your old shoes and clothes. Gloves will be provided, but organizers encourage volunteers to bring heavy work gloves of their own. Breakfast, snacks and water will be provided. After the cleanup, volunteers will be served a lunch of hot dogs, chips and drinks. Other sponsors are Cherokee County Water & Sewerage Authority and the and Waste Management.
