The Unchained Tour Visits Yawn's Books & More

The Unchained Tour tour will take renowned storytellers and some brilliant musicians to eight towns and cities across Georgia on an old Blue Bird school bus. We'll be stopping, along the way, into independent bookstores; the tour is called Unchained because its aim is to encourage people to buy their books from independent sellers rather than big chains, and also to break the chains of the Internet and advocate print. We're for real community gatherings, not just virtual ones.

From January 14 through the 16, the Blue Bird bus will be rolling through to promote Unchained's official February tour. George Dawes Green, the tour's founder, will be on hand to answer questions and discuss storytelling and the future of independent bookstores. Green is also the founder of the Moth, a series of storytelling nights in New York, Chicago, LA, Detroit, Atlanta and other cities across the globe that appears as a program on National Public Radio every week.

We'll be at Yawn's Books & More in Canton on Sunday, January 15, at 3:30pm and hope you'll join us!
