The Exhibitor Awards Program prizes have also been increased this year to include free and reduced booth spaces at the 2014 festival.

More information on these incentives is available by contacting riverfest@gmail.com or calling (770) 704-5991.

Applications must be post-marked no later than June 1, 2013, and are available for download at Service League's website.

All work must be original, creative, quality and handmade by the exhibitor and must be suitable for a family-oriented show.

The juried show features more than 200 arts and crafts exhibitors, entertainers, children’s activities and concessions. It is the League’s largest fundraising event, and all proceeds will benefit less fortunate children of Cherokee County.

A $5 gate donation is suggested for patrons aged 11 and older. The event will take place rain or shine. Free parking and shuttle services are available.

Created in 1935, the Service League of Cherokee County is an all volunteer organization made up of 80 women who work over 10,000 hours each year to raise money for less fortunate children in Cherokee County.

Along with RiverFest, the League each year also hosts a Run For The Children 5k, an annual ball for its members and compiles a cookbook filled with new recipes. Proceeds from those events help the League give back to the community.

The money raised by the league helps children obtain eyeglasses, clothing and help helps supports camps and scholarships.
