What's Going On Around Cherokee This Weekend

Here's a round-up of activities happening this weekend in your backyard.

This weekend won't have as many events, most likely due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Here's out short list of fun activities you and the family will enjoy.

  • The Woodstock Hippie Shop will host HIPPIESTOCK Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. where crafters, artisans and vendors will raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.
  • The Woodstock Visitors Center at Dean's Store will host long-time Woodstock residents who will tell stories from the city's past at 1 p.m. Saturday.
  • Elm Street Arts will continue its production of Alice in Wonderland Saturday and Sunday. The show will begin at 2 p.m. on both days at its location in downtown Woodstock. Call (678) 494-4251 for more information.

The Walk for Ferrial to raise awareness for Turner Syndrome is at Hobgood Park today from 11-1.
