Visitation for Former Cherokee Teacher Tonight

1. Services have been set for Katie Burson, the former Moore Elementary teacher who after an eight-year battle with cancer. Burson's family will receive visitors from 5 to 8 tonight at , 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming. A celebration of life is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at Browns Bridge Community Church, 3860 Browns Bridge Road, also in Cumming.

2. Around the United States, Patch editors will be volunteering in their communities today. Canton-Sixes Patch will be at . If you see editor Rodney Thrash assisting media specialist Dixie Harper and others, stop by and say hello. And make sure you do your part to make your neighborhood and your city great. We'll have a list of the area's top five nonprofits at 3 p.m. today.

3. From Friday's Arbor Day sale to Saturday's Black History Month Gospel Fest, Canton has so much to offer this weekend. At 10 a.m., we'll suggest a few things to do.
