Boling Park was alive with the spirits over the weekend, as the site played host to the Cherokee County Indian Festival & Mothers Day Pow Wow.
Representatives from many Native American tribes were on hand to proudly display their cultural heritage and demonstrate ancient arts such as horseback riding, tanning hides, and flute playing.
Different tribal dances were performed, some of which honored veterans of the United States military. Other dances allowed audience members to partake in the jubilation.
