This Week in Canton Crime: March 29-April 5

Here are the latest crimes being investigated by the Canton Police Department.

As usual, the Canton Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Canton between Friday, March 29 and Friday, April 5:

  • On March 29 at 4:04 p.m., an automobile was entered in the 1300 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On March 29 at 5:55 p.m., a theft by shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of Keith Drive.
  • On March 30 at 12:46 p.m., a purse was reported stolen in the 100 block of Riverstone Terrace.
  • On March 30 at 2:46 p.m., a purse was reported stolen in the 200 block of Hospital Road.
  • On March 30 at 4:42 p.m., a simple battery (Family Violence Act) was reported in the 1 block of Jefferson Circle.
  • On Mach 30 at 10:42 p.m., a battery was reported in the 200 block of Marietta Road.
  • On March 31 at 3:01 a.m. a battery was reported in the 100 block of River Ridge Drive.
  • On April 1 at 2:21 p.m., a theft by shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On April 1 at 7:42 p.m., a theft by deception was reported in the 500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On April 2 at 2:10 p.m., terroristic threats or acts were reported in the 1400 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On April 2 at 5:31 p.m., a residential burglary without forced entry was repoted in the 100 block of East Killiean Street.
  • On April 3 at 5:25 p.m., a residential burglary without forced entry was reported in the 600 block of Hickory Knoll Drive.
  • On April 4 at 6:30 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 100 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On April 5 at 7:07 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 2400 block of Trenton Drive.
