Why Go: There's a dance lesson to be learned and then the fun begins. Learn a new move or two and enjoy the party afterward. The lesson begins at 7:30 p.m. and the party starts at 8:30 p.m.

Why Go: The nights are cooler in Canton where downtown merchants will be open for extended hours for patrons to browse through the stores. Live music and refreshments add to the festivities.

Why Go: It's time to do something about those hilly spots in your yard. Learn how to control soil erosion with mulches and ornamental grasses and why soil is more than just dirt. Seating is limited so reservations are encouraged.

Why Go: There's a new twist on the old classic tale. That is, the prince falls in love with Cinderella because she's the smartest girl he has ever met. The Elm Street Players' production runs this weekend and July 23-24.
