One Lane of I-575 Closed Today
The lane closure is necessary for work on the Sharpe Mountain Creek Bridge.
The right lane of I-575 northbound will be closed today from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to allow for work on the Sharpe Mountain Creek Bridge.
According to a news release from the Georgia Department of Transportation, the lane closure will occur at mile marker 19.4. Crews will be sealing the joints of the bridge om the interstate over the creek. This maintenance operation and the lane closure it necessitates are weather permitting and subject to change.
