Nominate Your School's Unsung Hero

Cherokee commissioners propose a budget that will not raise taxes, reduce services.

4. Members of the wrestling team, who qualified for the state duals for the first time in school history, are waiting to find out where they'll compete. Because of the snow, the Georgia High School Association postponed the tournament until Feb. 25 and changed the location. Look for Knox Bardeen's story just before 10 a.m.

5. Cherokee officials have set a new sentencing date for former Cobb police officer . Reda, 38, was to be sentenced for his role in an off-duty boating accident that killed Sgt. Brent Stephens last April. But logistical issues forced officials to postpone the hearing until 10 a.m. Jan. 27.
