2. In Case You Missed It: The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl Thursday afternoon. At least two witnesses saw the suspect's car, which has been described as a white older model foreign sedan.

5. On This Date in History: On April 26, 1865, John Wilkes Booth, the notorious assassin of President Abraham Lincoln, is cornered inside a tobacco barn in Port Royal, VA. When Booth refuses to surrender, Union troops set the barn on fire, hoping to smoke him out. Without orders from a superior, Sgt. Boston Corbett shoots Booth, mortally wounding him. Booth dies three hours later.
