2. In Case You Missed It: An overturned jeep in Canton sent some teenagers to the hospital over the weekend. The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the accident.

3. Happening Now: The Canton Police Department is looking for help to discover the identities of three white men who allegedly vandalized the River Falls subdivision sign with spray paint. Investigators believe the men left the bag featured in this article in the woods as they were fleeing from officers.

In other BOLO (Be On the LookOut) news, the Canton PD is looking for a vehicle that fled the scene of an accident near Interstate 575 last month. The black Nissan Pathfinder has significant front end damage.

4. Looking Ahead: With summer just around the corner, the Army Corps of Engineers will be relaunching its safety programs for boaters on Lake Allatoona. Vessel safety checks will be resumed on May 25 to ensure boats carry adequate life jackets for all passengers.

5. On This Date in History: On May 6, 1937, the German zeppelin Hindenburg was destroyed under mysterious circumstances whilst attempting a landing at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey. The disaster was immortalized by radio reporter Herbert Morrison, whose live reactions to the burning airship have become a part of popular culture.

You've probably heard Morrison's high-pitched reporting of the scene, including the famous line, "Oh, the humanity!" Did you know that some audio historians believe that the audio is played back too quickly, causing Morrison to sound more high-pitched than he actually was? Here is what he may have sounded like on May 6, 1937.
