Local Legislator Proposes Gun Bill

1. Cherokee County legislators have submitted bills that would change the ways county commissioners and school board members are elected. The legislation also would draw the current school board chair and vice chair out of their districts.

4. Mandi Ballinger is seeking election to the newly-created District 23 seat in the state House of Representatives.

5. Partly cloudy skies are expected today with a high around 57 degrees. Tomorrow, look for that high to climb to 60 degrees.
