Highway 20 to Undergo Shoulder Repair
The repairs are set to take place Monday through Thursday.
The Georgia Department of Transportation this week will be performing shoulder repair along Highway 20/Cumming Highway in Cherokee County.
Weather permitting, the repairs are set to take place 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 10 through Thursday, March 13.
The maintenance consists of reshaping sections of the road's shoulder using a "grader or truck-mounted conveyor to restore the shoulder to its original condition," GDOT said in a press release.
