Cherokee Residents Can Declutter Home with Children's Consignment Sale

Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency is organizing a children's consignment sale where residents can sell old clothes, toys and baby items.

The Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency has the perfect solution to help residents get rid of unwanted children's items.

CRPA will hold a Countywide Children's Consignment Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at the agency's recreation center in Woodstock.

Kate Borden, recreation coordinator with CRPA, said the county still has slots available for residents to sign up, which is a requirement to participate. The cost to participate is $35 and residents can email Borden at kborden@cherokeega.com for more information or to sign up.

The sale, which is only reserved for children's toys, clothing and old baby items, will allow those participating to price their own items and keep the money they make from the sale.

CRPA's website has more information on what items can be sold, and the policies and procedures those wishing to participate must follow.
