Cherokee Gets Permanent Seat on Regional Water Board

Now that Cherokee County's has surpassed the 200,000 mark, it automatically gets a permanent seat on the governing board of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District,  chairman Buzz Ahrens said Tuesday night. The district develops regional plans to protect water quality and water supply. 3. Speaking of , the board of directors announced Tuesday–the day the sale was completed–that an agreement had been reached with the lender. Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company will allow the private school to remain at 2126 Sixes Road through the end of the school year. But Cherokee Charter Academy, the facility's , will have "full and complete" access to the site during normal business hours to conduct "due diligence and marketing of the Premises."
