Chamber to Cut Ribbon on History Museum

1. The Chamber of Commerce will cut the ribbon at 4 p.m. today on the in Canton. The museum, which will be housed in the historic courthouse on North Street, officially opens Saturday.

2. After Thursday night's lesson on Robert's Rules of Order, Canton officials displayed something residents hadn't seen at previous council meetings: civility. The meeting went so well, it lasted all of 59 minutes. Usually, meetings go on for at least three hours. If you missed our tick-tock of the Canton City Council meeting, read it .

3. Temperatures around Canton will continue to decline today after Thursday's rain, sleet and snow, according to the National Weather Service. Expect a high of 38 degrees and more rain. The service issued a winter weather advisory at 8:42 p.m. Thursday. The advisory won't be lifted until 8 a.m. today.
