Ball Ground Historical Society Installs Officers, Board of Directors

The newest officers and board of directors for the society were installed earlier this week.

The Ball Ground Historical Society installed new officers and its board of directors during the group's monthly meeting at Ball Ground City Hall Tuesday evening.

The new officers are President Beth Ingram, Vice President Tim Cavender, Recording Secretary Karen Jordan, Corresponding Secretary Sara Pendley, and Treasurer Elaine Gay.

The members of the board of directors are Dr. Rebecca Ray, Joe Kitchens, and Mary Sue Haynes Malone.

To join the Ball Ground Historical Society, tasked with preserving the city's history and heritage, attend their meetings on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Ball Ground City Hall. The meetings begin at 7 p.m.

Dues for the society are $25 for a single person or $35 for a household, which gives two memberships.
