Local Builder Promotes Canton Resident

The active adult builder Windsong Properties announces the promotion of Canton resident Brian Alcott from customer relations and warranty specialist to customer service manager.

Alcott joined the Windsong team in July of 2012 as the go-to person for conducting home walkthroughs and enhancing the purchasing experience.

“After interviewing internal and external candidates for the management position, we knew that Brian was the right person for this position,” stated Carrie Roeger, operations manager for Windsong Properties. “Brian understands our dedication to customer service and will help us improve it as our company grows.”

Upon graduating from Broward Community College in Coconut Creek, Fla., Alcott became a code compliance officer with the City of Margate. There, he worked with review committees and builders, launching his career in the residential building industry.

After relocating to Georgia, Alcott began working at KB Homes as a customer service representative. Then, Alcott moved on to Robert Harris Homes where, after one year, he was promoted to area supervisor and then to warranty department manager.

“My accomplishments and experience to grow through the ranks has given me a solid foundation to bring to Windsong Properties where I am excited to help our homeowners enjoy their homes to the fullest,” explained Alcott.

In order to do just that, Alcott is currently looking into certifications through the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. He wants to further his knowledge so that he can better assist homeowners to understand the inner workings of their ranch homes.

Alcott said, “I look forward each day to meeting and talking to homeowners that have made the decision to become part of the Windsong way of life, ‘where life’s a breeze.”
