In Demand Careers Focus of Chatt Tech Info Sessions
Chattahoochee Technical College will offer a series of information sessions geared toward offering current and prospective students an opportunity to learn more about academic programs. The evening events will feature popular programs in the Business and Technical Studies Division at six of the college’s eight campus locations.
“We want to give people an opportunity to learn more about these programs, the curriculum and career opportunities available in these fields,” explained Shane Evans, Associate Dean of Technical Studies. “The job market continues to place a strong emphasis on post -secondary education when evaluating the workforce. Chattahoochee Technical College is a great place to get that education and prepare for a career.”
The events will feature instructors from the programs to talk with interested students and prospective students, as well as an opportunity to view lab and classroom facilities. Each event begins at 6 p.m. and requires no RSVP to attend.

“Chattahoochee Technical College offers a unique and quality education to people throughout this area,” said Evans. “Our approach to workforce development and educational opportunities is one of accessibility with program availability; flexible schedules; traditional, online and hybrid course options; multiple campuses and low cost tuition and fees.”
Chattahoochee Technical College currently offers more than 70 degree, diploma and technical certificate of credit options in 45 different programs of study. In addition to the programs in the Business and Technical Studies Division, students study a wide variety of health science programs, including nursing, radiography, occupational therapy assistant, medical assisting, health information technology, surgical technology, physical therapist assistant, and others. Students may also take classes from a list of more than 27 general education courses that transfer to 4-year colleges and universities throughout Georgia.

Financial aid options for students provide grant or scholarship money to defray the costs of tuition and fees, including Pell Grant, HOPE Grant and HOPE Scholarship, as well as a variety of private scholarship opportunities through the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation.
