Active Adult Home Builder Celebrates 14 New Residents at Cherokee Community

The Orchards Group is pleased to announce that it has already sold 12 homes at its Cherokee County active adult community this year, which is one-third of the homes it sold in all of 2013! Thanks to the fast sales pace that has been seen recently, The Orchards of East Cherokee is preparing to gain 14 new homeowners this spring.

Due to the strong sales that have already occurred at The Orchards of East Cherokee this year, 109 of the community’s 140 homes have already been sold. Of the 31 remaining homes, there are only two single-family homes still available. There is also an assortment of ranch condominium homes that are still available that offer move-in dates from now through the end of the summer.

“We’re very excited about all of the new homeowners moving in and the level of construction that is happening right now,” said Mitch Block, director of sales and marketing for The Orchards Group. “This is a level that’s never been seen at The Orchards of East Cherokee, and with only 31 homes remaining, we expect to be closed out by the end of this year.”

The new homeowners at The Orchards of East Cherokee will be able to enjoy a wide variety of amenities, such as the gourmet kitchen, media room and fitness center that can all be found in the grand clubhouse, as well as the swimming pool and relaxing waterfall plaza that residents can enjoy during the warmer months.

While The Orchards of East Cherokee is not located within any one city, it has the distinct advantage of being located between four downtown areas, including Woodstock, Alpharetta, Roswell and Canton. The community is also just minutes from the new Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, which provides residents with fabulous shopping opportunities. Another advantage of the community’s Cherokee County location is that residents aged 62 and older receive a discount on their taxes, as they are not required to pay the local school tax.
