Open House for Highway 20 Improvements is Tonight
Here's what's going on today in Canton.
Woodstock and Cherokee County residents are asked to come out tonight to learn about proposed improvements to S.R. 20 in Canton.
The open house will be held between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Conference Center in Canton.
GDOT will hold an public information open house to discuss the proposed project, which will bring improvements on the highway between its interchange at Interstate 575 to Scott Road.
The open house will be an informal gathering, and the public can drop in any time between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
For those who can't attend, but would like to add their two cents, they can submit written statements by Nov. 8 to: Mr. Glenn Bowman, P.E., State Environmental Administrator, Georgia Department of Transportation, 600 West Peachtree Street, NW – 16th Floor, Atlanta, Georgia 30308.
