Forum For Canton Council Candidates Tonight
Here is what's happening today in Canton.
The candidates vying for the three seats up for grabs on the Canton City Council will participate in a forum tonight in Canton.
The forum, organized by the Cherokee Tribune and WLJA radio 101.1 FM, will be held 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Cherokee Arts Center in downtown Canton.
The candidates — Sandy McGrew and Clint Weatherby for Ward 1, Ari Durham and Bill Grant for Ward 2, and Molly Lewis, John Rust, Thomas Sanders and Farris Yawn for Ward 3. — are slated to participate in the forum.
Questions were submitted by the public and will be asked by panelists during the forum.
