This family friendly event, in conjunction with the Canton Farmers Market, will present information on energy savings, solar panels, rain garden design, rain harvesting and community building with the Transition Initiative. The festival is in Cannon Park in Historic Downtown Canton.

Formerly the First Baptist Church of Canton, this historic building houses the offices of the Mayor Gene Hobgood, City Manager Scott Wood, City Clerk Coty Ervin and other administrators.
The Canton City Council meets at 6pm every first and third Thursday of the month. City offices are closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
