DESCRIPTION:The Canton Optimist Club is inviting you and your organizatio
 n to help kick-off the 2012 Christmas Season by participating&nbsp\; in 
 the 25th Annual Christmas Parade &amp\; Festival on December 1\, 2012\nM
 usic Begins @ Noon\, The Parade will begin @ 6pm\nParade Entries: All ty
 pes of groups are needed and welcomed: Bands\, Floats\, Veterans\, ROTC\
 , Car Clubs\, Motorcycle Clubs\, Horse Riders Associations\, Beauty Quee
 ns\, Public Officials\, Antique Cars\, Fire Trucks\, Rescue Vehicles\, L
 aw Enforcement Agencies\, Civic Organizations\, Funny Cars\, Etc.&nbsp\;
 \nLine up for the Parade will take place between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM beh
 ind the Auto Zone on Waleska Street.&nbsp\; Please have your entry/group
  there as close to 4:30 as possible.\n&nbsp\;VENDORS: This year we are l
 ooking for vendors.&nbsp\; It is the Christmas Season and your participa
 tion is hopeful to help you sell your wares during this 6+ hour event.&n
 bsp\; Vendors needed: Food I.E.\, Popcorn\, Cotton Candy\, Coffee\, Hot 
 Chocolate\, Sandwiches etc.&nbsp\; Farmers Market\, Arts and Crafts\, Sp
 ecialty Items\, ATV/Motorcycle Dealers\, Auto Dealers etc.\n**Vendors ar
 e asked to make a $15  donation toward the Canton Optimist Empty Stocky 
 Fund for needy children for the use of a 10x10 space.**\nThe vendors can
  set up beginning @ 11:30 am and go until  the parade kicks off @ 6pm an
 d after the parade.\nMusical Entries: Music will begin at Noon and go un
 til the parade kicks off.&nbsp\;\nMusic  groups must be family friendly.
  &nbsp\;We only have 12 slots for music and  they will only be approved 
 after submitting a recording or have been  invited to the event in previ
 ous years.&nbsp\; To request entry to the music festival\; send an email
  to canton_optimist@hotmail.com with your or band name\, contact person\
 , phone number\, type music and attach an mp3 or other suitable recordin
 g.Help us make this the largest Canton Optimist  Christmas Parade and Fe
