The Canton Optimist Club is inviting you and your organization to help kick-off the 2012 Christmas Season by participating  in the 25th Annual Christmas Parade & Festival on December 1, 2012

Music Begins @ Noon, The Parade will begin @ 6pm

Parade Entries: All types of groups are needed and welcomed: Bands, Floats, Veterans, ROTC, Car Clubs, Motorcycle Clubs, Horse Riders Associations, Beauty Queens, Public Officials, Antique Cars, Fire Trucks, Rescue Vehicles, Law Enforcement Agencies, Civic Organizations, Funny Cars, Etc. 

Line up for the Parade will take place between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM behind the Auto Zone on Waleska Street.  Please have your entry/group there as close to 4:30 as possible.

 VENDORS: This year we are looking for vendors.  It is the Christmas Season and your participation is hopeful to help you sell your wares during this 6+ hour event.  Vendors needed: Food I.E., Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Sandwiches etc.  Farmers Market, Arts and Crafts, Specialty Items, ATV/Motorcycle Dealers, Auto Dealers etc.

**Vendors are asked to make a $15 donation toward the Canton Optimist Empty Stocky Fund for needy children for the use of a 10x10 space.**

The vendors can set up beginning @ 11:30 am and go until the parade kicks off @ 6pm and after the parade.

Musical Entries: Music will begin at Noon and go until the parade kicks off. 

Music groups must be family friendly.  We only have 12 slots for music and they will only be approved after submitting a recording or have been invited to the event in previous years.  To request entry to the music festival; send an email to canton_optimist@hotmail.com with your or band name, contact person, phone number, type music and attach an mp3 or other suitable recording.

Help us make this the largest Canton Optimist Christmas Parade and Festival yet.

This year we have also added Canton Optimist Empty Stocky Collection. Please bring an unwrapped toy for a boy or girl and drop it off at the line up or at the gazebo during the event.

You can also make a $$ Contribution, look for the Canton Optimist Volunteers in their yellow vests with the collection buckets.
