UPDATE: Woodstock Outlet Mall To Hold Job Fair Next Week

The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta hopes to fill 1,000 positions at a job fair at Etowah High School from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday Feb. 21.

The much anticipated outlet mall opening in Woodstock will start looking for new employees next week.

The Georgia Department of Labor will help the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta fill a number of employment slots at a job fair at Etowah High School

A job fair will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday Feb. 21. The school's address 6565 Putnam Ford Drive, Woodstock, GA.

The event is expected to fill over 1,000 part-time and full-time positions for the mall, which is slated to open in July

Salary information will be discussed by employers at the job fair. Job seekers are strongly encouraged to dress appropriately and have plenty of resumes and cover letters available. 

The 370,000 square-foot phase will be stocked with some of the widely known brands and designer outlets such as Brooks Brothers, Cole Haan, Nike, Under Armour, Michael Kors and Talbots.  

Thirty new stores that have recently announced their intentions of joining the rundown of stores include: Aéropostale, Asics, Berry & Berry Yogurt, Bose, Charley's Steakery, Charlotte Russe, Claire's, Columbia Sportswear, Dress Barn, Fox, Gold Toe, Gymboree, Haggar, Jos. A. Bank, Journeys, Kay Jewelers, Kitchen Collection, Love Culture, Lucky Brand, Maidenform, Motherhood Maternity, OshKosh B'Gosh, P.S. From Aéropostale, Sbarro, Sunglass Hut, Taqueria Tsunami, Ultra Diamonds, Waterford Wedgwood, Wilsons Leather and Zumiez.

The outlet mall is a joint venture of CBL and Horizon Group Properties. Both companies are developing the project, but Horizon is in charge of leasing and managing the center. 

The outlet mall is located along Ridgewalk Parkway just east of the new Interstate 575 Exit 9 interchange and is expected to attract over four million shoppers each year from Georgia and its border states.

Bring on more premium stores like nordstrom rack. Not junk stores!
