1. Elijah Cole, the missing 11-year-old BridgeMill boy, was found safe Tuesday morning. His father, 43-year-old Jason Cole, was arrested on a number of charges. Investigators suspect went on a drug binge as he and his son went from house to house, said Lt. Jay Baker, the spokesman for the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.

2. Former Cherokee County Fire Chief Ray Gunnin is the newest member of the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners after ousting District 2 Commissioner Jim Hubbard, but turnout was low. Click on the first link for details.
3. A 51-year-old Acworth woman was struck by a car and killed Monday night after she fell in the crosswalk of Georgia 92 and Wade Green Road.
4. The Woodstock Smoke 911 shop was one of four in north metro where federal search warrants were executed related to "bath salts" and synthetic marijuana.
5. Within an hour of a smash and grab burglary in Canton early Monday morning, two suspects, both of them from Canton, were in police custody.
