3. ERIC GANT
Where/When: Fabiano's Pizzeria and Tavern, 9:30 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: Spend Saturday night with your special someone or a group of friends listening to the sounds of an acoustic guitarist/singer-songwriter with a diverse song selection and wide vocal range.
Pricing: No cover charge
Why Go: This is a great way to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs. Last year, over 3,000 state and local law enforcement agencies participated nationwide with over one ton of pills safely collected.
5. PIONEER DAYS
Where/When: Tanglewood Farm, Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: The kids can get in the pioneering spirit by panning for gold and arrowheads. Watch sheep-shearing and see how wool is transitioned to the spinning wheel and spun into sweaters, caps and socks. Take a pony ride or a hay ride and, of course, pet and feed over 100 miniature farm animals.
Pricing: $10; free for infants
