Riverfest Arts & Crafts Festival
Proceeds benefit needy Cherokee County children.
The Service League of Cherokee County will present the 27th Annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival this weekend at Boling Park.

1. RIVERFEST ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL
Deal: Head to Boling Park this weekend for food, entertainment, arts and crafts exhibitors, and children's activities. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 10 and younger.
Good through: Sunday.
Deal: Buy one Happy Meal at any McDonald's, get another free from 2 to 7 p.m.
Good through: Thursday.
3. 2011 CHEROKEE COUNTY PROBE COLLEGE FAIR
Deal: More than 75 admissions representatives from Georgia and out-of-state colleges will attend the event, which will be held at Cherokee High. All Cherokee County students and parents are invited.
Good through: Tuesday.
4. VICTORY RUN 5K CHALLENGE AND 1 MILE FAMILY FUN
Deal: Sponsored by the BridgeMill Sixes Service League, the family fun run costs $8. The family package, which covers one 5K and two fun run participants, costs $35. Register online.
Good through: Oct. 1.
5. MOM'S TABLE
Deal: This Woodstock eatery prepares main dishes, sides and desserts just like Mom used to make. Menu items are as low as $2.
Good through: Ongoing.
