Chief: Nothing Located at Canton Carmike
The Carmike Riverstone 15 Cinemas was one of at least six locations across metro Atlanta to receive the threat, according to WSB-TV.

Canton Police Chief Bob Merchant just told Canton-Sixes Patch that "nothing was located" at Carmike Riverstone 15 Cinemas. The movie theater had been evacuated while local authorities conducted "a precautionary search" of the location, one of at least six metro area Carmike theaters where bomb threats were confirmed.
Bomb dogs from the Cherokee Sheriff's Office were on the scene.

Canton Police Chief Bob Merchant just told Canton-Sixes Patch that the Riverstone Carmike movie theater has been evacuated while local authorities conduct "a precautionary search" of the location, one of at least six metro area Carmike theaters where bomb threats have been confirmed.
"We have the Cherokee Sheriff's Office on scene right now with their bomb dogs," he said. "They're just searching for precuationary measures. Nothing suspicious has been found."

Canton is one of at least six cities across metro Atlanta to receive the threat, according to WSB-TV.
Threats also have been confirmed at Carmike locations in Snellville, Cartersville, Conyers, Hiram and Newnan.
WXIA-TV, also known as 11Alive, reported that Carmike's corporate offices in Columbus, GA, received a call that multiple bombs had been planted in theater locations across the country.
