3. Happening Now: Don't forget Etowah High School's Brain Drain Academic Bowl tonight! The nationally-ranked Etowah academic bowl team is going up against some of their own professors, so it ought to be a titanic battle of smarts!

5. On This Date in History: On March 1, 1692, Tituba, Sarah Good and Sarah Osbourne are brought before magistrates in Salem MA to answer for charges of witchcraft. This first Salem witch trial causes a panic which eventually leads to the execution of twenty supposed witches and wizards and was the setting for Arthur Miller's "The Crucible."
