Morning Briefing: Halloween Nine Days Away

Here's what's going on this Monday in Canton.

 

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts clear and sunny skies for Canton today, with a high of 78 degrees. Tonight's low should be around 47 degrees,

2. In Case You Missed It: The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the suspicious death of a 17-month-old last Sunday. Sheriff's deputies would like to speak to the boyfriend of the baby's mother, but he has obtained legal counsel and remains silent.

On the gridiron, Canton teams went 1-1 Friday night, with Creekview shutting out Cambridge and Cherokee falling on the road to Etowah. Canton-Sixes Patch has details and photographs from both games.
