Man Charged in Hit-and-Run of Cherokee Crossing Guard
Victor Baruchman, 20, of Woodstock has been charged with felony hit and run after he allegedly hit a crossing guard Tuesday afternoon in front of Freedom Middle School.

A Woodstock man has been arrested and charged in connection with a hit-and-run incident that sent a Cherokee Sheriff's Office crossing guard to the hospital.
Sheriff's deputies have arrested Victor Baruchman, 20, of Woodstock and charged him with felony hit and run. He remains at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with a $15,000 bond.
Baruchman was running late to his Cherokee County DUI/Drug Court graduation when he allegedly hit the crossing guard in front of Freedom Middle School, according to a press release from the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.
The guard, Jerrold Reaid, 63, of Acworth, suffered a broken ankle when he was struck by Baruchman's vehicle at approximately 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. He was released from Northside Hospital-Cherokee Wednesday morning.
When detectives with the sheriff's office discovered Baruchman’s 2000 2-door Honda Accord, the “T” had been scraped off the back window and the front bumper of the vehicle had been removed.
The Sheriff's Office had originally described the vehicle as a silver Honda Prelude with a large University of Tennessee stylized "T" on the rear window.

It is for these men and to get their money that Cherokee County and the towns in the county legalized alcohol. Legal alcohol basically kills for pay. Nobody is safe as stores, cafes, and other outlets send alcoholics out to kill and be killed.
Criminal government kills the people in its care for money.
The voters of the county should unite, put their children's lives and health first. Wal-Mart, Ingles, Publix, Eckerds, Walgreen, and others should be ashamed of themselves for their willingness to addict and destroy with alcohol. With all their great wealth, wealth has become their god and that ugly god demands from them the lives of people in the county.
Because of the deaths due to alcohol and abortion, the USA needs a prohibition amendment and needs to get all Bibles in all schools and all grades.

If Mr. Parker knew what he was talking about, he would know that neither drugs nor alcohol were involved in the incident. The accused was on his way to graduation from a year + intensive court directed treatment program where he was routinely tested, including that day.
