You know the routine, but just in case you forgot that today is the Fourth of July, here's a reminder of places to avoid and services that won't be available.

GOVERNMENT OFFICES

Because of the holiday, all city and county government offices will be closed today. The Board of Commissioners and the Planning Commission will meet July 10. Instead of meeting on July 5, the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on July 12.

LIBRARIES

Branches of the Sequoyah Regional Library System will be closed today.

TRASH PICKUP

If your regularly scheduled service day falls on or after the Fourth of July, your service will be delayed one day. Waste Management will run on Saturdays to accommodate the amended schedule.

Additionally, there will be no mail delivery today and banks will be closed.
