1. Four people, all of them from Canton, have been arrested in connection with Monday's armed home invasion on Rampley Trail in Waleska, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said on Thursday. Store video showed the suspects leaving the Canton Walmart after using the victim's debit card just two hours after the invasion.

2. Cherokee County emergency director Robby Westbrook, the man who everyone relies on when severe weather hits Cherokee County, said Thursday that he will retire if David Waters defeats Sheriff Roger Garrison in the upcoming July 31 primary.
