1. River Ridge at Canton maintenance worker Ryan Brunn faces additional charges in connection with the slaying of Canton Elementary first-grader Jorelys Rivera. A Cherokee County Grand Jury indicted Brunn this week, according to the Cherokee Ledger-News.

2. Joshua Daniels, the Canton father and husband accused of molesting his girlfriend's 10-year-old daughter, appeared before Colquitt County Magistrate Court Judge J.J. McMillan on Tuesday. "He was bound over to go to the grand jury to be indicted or not indicted," McMillan told Canton-Sixes Patch. He said he didn't know the next time the grand jury will convene.

3. Three men from Canton believed to be part of a drug trafficking operation in Woodstock have been arrested, the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad said Tuesday. Michael Jacobs has details.

4. Stephen Delman of the Canton Police Department and Shane Smith of the Holly Springs Police Department pulled a 31-year-old man from a burning home on Monday. It's the second time this week that the actions of Canton police officers have been lauded.
