Cherokee County is looking for an employment and safety officer in the human resources department. The officer "is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing cost saving measures while ensuring compliance with County policies, state Workers' Compensation laws and federal legislation such as the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act," according to the job description on the county's website.
