Community Urged to Pray Tonight

1. With support from individuals across Cherokee County, came true on Monday. The ο»Ώ seventh-grader, who has battled an aggressive form of brain cancer for the past 10 months, needs your support again. Results from an MRI indicate Collins' tumor has grown. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight, people all over Cherokee County will gather at ο»Ώο»Ώ to pray for Collins and his family. Kevin "Chappy" Hynes, the chaplain for the University of Georgia football team, will be the keynote speaker. Everyone is asked to wear red and black, the colors of Collins' beloved Dawgs.

2. The will have its first meeting of 2012 tonight, and two new faces will be on the dais. Ward I Council member and Ward III Council member , who in November, will take office. If you can't make tonight's meeting, return to the site at 6 p.m. to watch it from the comfort of your home.
