It's Election Day

Find out where you can vote, when you can vote, what you need to bring and who you can call if you notice voting irregularities.

 

WHAT ARE THE ISSUES?

WHEN CAN I VOTE?

  • Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Return to Canton-Sixes Patch throughout the day for updates and after 7 p.m. for the latest results.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

  • Georgia law requires residents to show photo identification when voting in person. Acceptable forms of ID include:
    • Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free Voter ID Card issued by the county registrar's office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
    • A Georgia Driver's License, even if expired
    • Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state
    • Valid U.S. passport ID
    • Valid U.S. military photo ID
    • Valid tribal photo ID
