Driver Life-Flighted After Sunday Accident
There were no other injuries in the single-vehicle accident.
Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to a motor vehicle accident at Highway 140 and Regency Park Drive at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The driver of the vehicle was entrapped and was later life-flighted to an Atlanta Hospital. According to Sgt. Mathew Richter, the driver had a fractured sternum, pulmonary contusion and a possible head injury.
No other injuries were reported and the cause of the accident is underinvestigation.
