Jorelys Rivera 'Development' Imminent
The media will be briefed 30 minutes before the 1:30 p.m. announcement.
A development in the prosecution of Jorelys Rivera murder suspect Ryan Brunn will be heard at 1:30 p.m. today, said Lt. Jay Baker, Cherokee County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
"There will be a pre-hearing meeting with the media in the Jury Assembly Room on the ground floor of the Cherokee County Justice Center at 1 p.m.," Baker said. "I will not be responding to any emails or phone calls about this matter."
Last week, a Cherokee County Grand Jury indicted Brunn on 13 counts in connection with Jorelys' murder.
Brunn has been at the Cherokee County Detention Center since authorities arrested him on Dec. 7, two days after investigators found Jorelys' severely beaten body in a compacting Dumpster from the River Ridge at Canton apartment complex.
Originally facing charges of murder and making a false statement, 11 new charges were added on Monday, including two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of cruelty to children in the first degree, one count of aggravated child molestation, one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of false imprisonment, one count of abandonment of a dead body and one count of sexual exploitation of children.

My heart bleeds for Jorelys and her Family and friends, The only thing that can give this family any justice is that Brunn which I will refer to as " IT " because it doesnt deserve to be called by a name let alone a human being, IT will never be able to harm another, it will get what is coming to it, believe or not " Inmates have their own code of ethecs " as most inmates do not believe in harming children or women, and it will get what it deserves.
