City Council Meets, Cancer Benefit Scheduled

3. The cancer benefit "Comics for a Cause" is tonight at the Canton Theatre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or at www.tix.com.

4. Although the Cherokee County Board of Education typically meets the third Thursday of the month, the board is not meeting tonight. Instead, it's meeting is scheduled for next Thursday.
